Something More

I'm currently reading "Something More" [again] ... The first time I read it, I got about a fourth or fifth way through it, then I got away from the book, and I felt like if I'm gonna read this, I better start over... plus I was trying to read about 10 other books at the same time.

Something More is an incredibly inspiring book, I love it, and highly reccommend it. It's not like reading a novel ...just read at least one short passage each day [like Acts of Faith, only there's "homework" at the end of each chapter ... not homework you'll hate, but homework to make you think about your life] Yeah, I know there's a lot of "self help" books like this .. all I can say is, I haven't read EVERY self help book out there, but I've read this one, and I KNOW that if you pick it up, you'll read a passage or two or three ... that speaks to you as loudly as many of the passages speak to me .. directly. It's a book for EVERY woman (and man). If you love inspiring quotes, the book is full of those, too.

"Self help" .... naw, I don't like that ... it's more of a "live your best life" book. ...

This is a t-shirt I saw online ... I love this design. It's called "Afro Ohm" ... if you'll take notice, the "afro" is a doily. I saw some interesting doilies at the Dollar Store, I'm wondering what my artistic hands can do with them ...probably some collage work ... certainly not putting them on the coffee table, not my style.
